About Us

The business was taken over by Zubair Adam in March 1996 but it has been around for more than 50 years.

We started this business to provide a primary Healthcare facility for the area.

At Koeberg Pharmacy we take pride in our customer service and have good product knowledge.

This has been achieved through years of experience.

Our Services

DISPENSING

Dispensing of prescription and over the counter medications, advice on medication and illnesses.

We deliver within the immediate area around the Pharmacy.

We have a medical Doctor and Dental Practitioner to which we can refer serious problems that needs immediate attention.

BLOOD PRESSURE MONITORING

When your heart beats, it pumps blood round your body to give it the energy and oxygen it needs.

As the blood moves, it pushes against the sides of the blood vessels. The strength of this pushing is your blood pressure.
If your blood pressure is too high, it puts extra strain on your arteries (and your heart) and this may lead to heart attacks and strokes.

Regular Blood Pressure checks, at our Pharmacy, are important to ensure you are informed about the state of your health to try to prevent heart attacks and strokes

GLUCOSE TESTING

Blood Glucose Tests are done on our premises to check wether the blood sugar is within the recommended range, it could suggest that someone is diabetic or pre diabetic.

This is essential as diabetes can lead to many other illnesses, including high blood pressure, visual disturbances, poor wound healing and many more.

CHOLESTEROL TESTING

Blood Cholesterol Testing done on our premises gives you the total cholesterol levels in your blood stream.

Should it be too high , it may be indicative of future problems eg heart attacks or strokes etc.
